As three mothers with young children living in Boston, Beantown Kids was born out of our combined frustration that there wasn’t an indoor playspace in Boston to hang out with our kids and meet our neighbors. We were tired of spending day after day at home with our stir-crazy kids on cold/snowy/windy/hot and humid days! After dragging our kids all around town and out to the suburbs to music, art, and gym classes, we knew there must be a better way.
So, we imagined a club for families with young children, in the heart of downtown Boston. We envisioned an expansive state-of-the art facility with an indoor playground accessible all day long where kids could play, learn, and socialize, a gym space, a one-stop-shop for the best enrichment classes and a place to host fantastically fun and creative birthday parties! And while we were letting our imaginations go wild, we pictured a kid-friendly café where we could hang out. We wanted an inviting and cheerful place where our kids would feel comfortable, empowered, and safe. Big dream, right? Well, our parents taught us to dream big, so we decided to create Beantown Kids.
And to meet our high standards, we assembled an advisory board of experts in child development and education to help create our vision of playtime, reinvented. Stay tuned for more information about Beantown Kids and our exciting opening.
